Laser Hair Removal

We will use a cooler to protect your outer skin during your laser hair removal treatment. The settings will be based on your skin type to prevent superficial burns. You will also experience minimum discomfort during treatment comparable to waxing, electrolysis, or even tweezing.

We recommend about 8-12 treatments to achieve clearance of an area. You may require maintenance treatments over time (once every 2-3 month) to see long-term hair removal lasting for several years. Each patient is different and results vary depending on the thickness and density of the hair.

On average, you will need to come in every 4-6 weeks interval (depending on the area). You will most likely get the results when the hair is at the active growth phase.

Most people are suitable for laser hair removal treatments. However, patients with blonde, grey/white and some types of red hair do not respond well to the treatment. Laser hair removal only works on individuals with light skin and coarse, dark hair (brown and black) hair.

Before your appointment, we ask that you:

• Shave the area a day before the treatment for ultimate results and to save time on the day of treatment.
• Exfoliate to remove any dead skin build up.
• Avoid the use of solariums and fake tan.
• Do not wax or pluck hair 4 weeks prior to your treatment.
• Avoid excessive sun exposure on area being treated.
• Avoid chemical peels or laser resurfacing on area being treated.
• Cleanse skin and remove lotions/deodorant prior to treatment.
