Pigmentation is not a diagnosis, it is just a description. There are many different types
of pigmentation, such as sun spots, melasma, and post-inflammatory pigmentation. Pigmentation can be caused by sun damage, inflammation, or other skin injuries.
Pigmentation can occur in the superficial and deeper layers of the skin. In general, the darker and more distinct the pigmentation, the more superficial the lesion. The lighter and patchier the pigmentation, the deeper the lesion.
How can I treat my pigmentation?
This is basic and mandatory to any pigmentation treatment and prevention, and should be incorporated into your daily skincare routine. In addition, sun protection is essential.

Our medical-grade laser treatments are able to penetrate beneath the skin’s surface to promote
What results can I expect from pigmentation treatment?
You should start noticing a more even skin tone from 4-8 weeks. Results are largely dependent on proper diagnosis and adhering to your treatment plan, and requires dedication and patience to achieve good results.
With deeper pigmentation such as melasma, it is considered a medical condition that can only be controlled and not cured. Regardless of diagnosis, prevention of your pigmentation worsening must commence as soon as possible.
