Skin Needling, also known as collagen induction therapy, stimulates new tissue formation to repair and rejuvenate the skin. Post treatment, you will be left with a smoother, brighter and more youthful complexion.

Skin Needling is performed by using our skin needling device, which has tiny needles that puncture the skin to encourage collagen remodelling and the production of new skin cells. This helps improve the tone, texture, and overall complexion of your skin. Our Skin Needling treatment is combined with the option of using either a hyaluronic serum or using your own Liquid Gold to achieve stunning results. This treatment can be performed on the face, neck, decollete, and on other areas such as the stomach and thighs to improve the appearance of stretch marks.

Which skin concerns do Skin Needling help treat?

Skin needling can be used as an overall skin rejuvenation treatment to help brighten and even out your skin tone, providing you with a smooth complexion. It can also be used to treat:

When will I see the results and how long do they last?

Results with Skin Needling treatments are gradual and will be most evident within 6-8 weeks post-treatment. Your skin will continue to improve over the next few months as new collagen is produced and the healing and regenerating effect continues to take place.

How many treatments will I need and when?

The number of treatments you will need will depend on your current skin condition. We recommend patients to start on the 4 session package, with treatments performed every 2-4 weeks. We will then reassess your skin and determine if you will need any further treatments.

Which serum option will be for me?

We have both the hyaluronic serum and Skin Needling options available at Skintech.

For more dramatic results, we recommend the Skin Needling option where you will be using your own platelets, which are rich in growth factors and healing properties. To find out more about Skin Needling, click here.

The hyaluronic serum is also a fantastic option especially for those who do not wish to draw blood. It has similar effects as the Skin Needling serum, plus additional hydrating factors.

Does it hurt?

We apply numbing cream to the area before we start the treatment to provide you with a comfortable and pain free treatment. Some clients may experience some discomfort, but this treatment is usually painless.
